Not only proving that if it breathes, Jack can flirt with it, this has got plot, pace and action a-plenty.

terrylj Nothing but Sand
Time-twisting, incredibly ingenious story, that should be confusing but completely works.
"An unexpected event pulls Rose and Jack away from the Doctor, throwing them into separate timestreams."

miss_zedem Welsh for Beginners
A by turns funny, heartfelt and touching story, with great characterisation and a convincing OC.
"Sometimes you find answers when you weren't looking for them..."

Thanks for the rec! I plan on reading the others tonight when I get a chance. The last thing I read of miss_zedem's nearly broke me.

I was also happy to see new "Waiting Years" ("Wandering Years"? whichever.) on my flist, and I intend to squee all over that as soon as possible.
