I'm not sure, but I suspect the LJ-cuts may have something to do with it was well. Technically, that makes those posts on different pages.

My general LJ URL gets a G-rating too. But I just entered the specific URL for 'Stuck in Traffic at the Magic Roundabout', and that got an NC-17 rating!

Although crazily enough not for the presence of the f-word (once in a 7000 word fic). 'death' 'crack' (and I think I had that in the innocent verb form/meaning) and 'bitch' were the offending words...
