Anyone alive out there? It's all gone quiet... Well, apart from on the building site next door where it sounds like they're banging Thor's hammer against the scaffolding.

But the sun is shining, I got my Latin fic done, I cracked and bought myself 'real' coffee so I don't have to drink fairtrade instant any more (*shudder*), I'm reading some fun genfics over at sga_genficathon*, there is hope on the horizon, my Big Bang story is coalescing into something writable, and Virgin radio are playing "Two Princes" which makes me feel 16 again. (they've followed it up with an hour of awesome tunes *sings quietly to self while dancing in chair*) ETA: Ooh, also, I'm happy because we've belated realised that Hotel Babylon is brilliant and fun and something we both like, and has Lucy Saxon in! We're so going to have to find the first two series now.

Also - people who have friended me lately, drop in and say hello! I have coffee (see above) and biscuits and would love to meet you properly :) Tell me something random about yourself. coffee, you say??I could have some...I'm only on my 4th cup today*g* I'm not very happy today, sorry to rain on your parade, but I'm studying Shakespeare(*redirects you to a short but furious rant on my LJ*) for my finals and I'm ready to kill myself*cries onto her Hamlet* sth about me??hmm, lets see; ice cream=punch, vanilla, white chocolate and nuts are my favourite flavors..with chocolate sauce on top* starts drooling and goes rummaging through her kitchen* don't like peanut butter...I prefer Nutella-now, don't go defriending me, we can't be perfect soul mates *g* I usually don't think about my glass,or alternatively, I overthink everything so a glass is never just a glass*LOL* and...Superman...but that's because I think that any man that can pull off blue tights,red pants and a yellow belt and not have people dying of laughter must be great*laughing* hmm, I likey your survey...thinking of ice cream and Superman has actually improved my mood..thanks *offers you fresh chocolate cookies* looking forward to knowing you better...*gives you an awkward but heartfelt hug*
