*prods flist*

Anyone alive out there? It's all gone quiet... Well, apart from on the building site next door where it sounds like they're banging Thor's hammer against the scaffolding.

But the sun is shining, I got my Latin fic done, I cracked and bought myself 'real' coffee so I don't have to drink fairtrade instant any more (*shudder*), I'm reading some fun genfics over at [livejournal.com profile] sga_genficathon*, there is hope on the horizon, my Big Bang story is coalescing into something writable, and Virgin radio are playing "Two Princes" which makes me feel 16 again. (they've followed it up with an hour of awesome tunes *sings quietly to self while dancing in chair*) ETA: Ooh, also, I'm happy because we've belated realised that Hotel Babylon is brilliant and fun and something we both like, and has Lucy Saxon in! We're so going to have to find the first two series now.

What's making you happy today?

Also - people who have friended me lately, drop in and say hello! I have coffee (see above) and biscuits and would love to meet you properly :) Tell me something random about yourself. What's your favourite ice-cream flavour? What's the craziest colour you've ever dyed your hair? Crunchy or smooth peanut butter? Is the glass half-full or half-empty? Superman or Batman? And lots of other questions...

Geez...can you tell I'm bored?

*Go have a read! Author guessing is now open :D

The sun is shining, I've finally worked out how Z's hug-fic is going to go, and I'm being entertained by Jasper Fforde.

My favourite ice-cream varies with the wind, dye doesn't stick to my hair, neither thanks, half a glass of liquid (why yes, I am a perpetual fence-sitter) and Batman!

Ooh, hug-fic! yay!

Which Jasper Fforde are you reading? I loved 'The Eyre Affair' and the first 'Nursery Crimes' one, but couldn't get on so well with the others.

It has to be said, that's an impressive list of non-answers ;) Although at least you can choose when it comes to the important things in life :D

I just finished reading "The Eyre Affair", and I loved both the Nursery Crimes ones. I have a weakness for a good detective story, especially one laced with touches of acid-dry Pratchett. I'm now avidly hunting down the rest.

As to the answers - of course! Batman is very important :) And the hair dye thing - I tried dying it mahogany red, but I barely got a faint tinge out of it. I probably use too much conditioner.

As to hug-fic - it will appear, I swear! Even if I have to write the damn thing on the train on Sunday.
