I'm thinking of writing some commentary-type stuff, maybe on the Big Bang pieces, or some meta-y stuff that's been bugging me lately. Except the only way I seem to be able to write at the moment is in stupidly intense bursts, rattling through 6,000 words in a day and not wanting to stop. I'm pretty sure it's avoidance behaviour, but it's...frustrating. The one meta I do definitely want to write is one about hypoglycaemia and SGA. I know of one fic that actually deals with it properly, and while I don't think it's a big thing, it's annoying to see something you know about done wrong.

Noo... I'm still reading other McShep fics! Just those that're on the bigbang site, or at least their summary, aren't pulling me in like the gen ones are.

Ouch. You broke me! I'm still crying. Probably because I didn't take my meds yet. I also lost my mom, but I'm not as smart or as productive as Rodney.

I'm so sorry to have triggered you like that. One of the things that struck me about the original was that we don't aren't told *why* Rodney's mother destroys the house, and I really wanted to tell her story. But I didn't mean to break anyone...

I'm ok. I'm taking my meds now and it's been 30 years since my mom passed away and I'm married now. It just hit me.

This is also word for word exactly what happened to a friend of mine. Not the journals. But how her mother went mad and died.
