I'm stuck in work today, which is rotten when it's sunny and nice outside. We've been really short-staffed this week, so I've had to spend too much time down on the main desk, where I can't do any of my own work. Consequently, my desk looks like an explosion in a bookshop. The aim of the day is to get rid of everything with an outstanding invoice. I shall be accompanied by "Isabella, she-wolf of France, queen of England" by Alison Weir on CD and the sound of drilling from the site next door.

So if you want to drop in and say hi, leave me a fic, a rec, a joke or anything else, I'd love to see you. I'm going to post fic to heretoutopia at some point and maybe some of the book reviews I've been pondering. I also appear to have started building a fictional world, which was unexpected but is turning out to be surprisingly fun. We shall see what happens.

1. Do you have a tattoo? No, but I would contemplate it.

4. Eat with your hands or utensils? Utensils - sorry to be boring and all.
5. Do you dream at night? If I do, I don't remember them. I do dream a lot in the daytime though :)
6. Ever seen a corpse? No, though I do have slight addiction to Silent Witness that probably just about qualifies as disturbing.
7.George Strait or Jay Z? To do what? Musically, or as a role model, or for a quickie? Well, to be honest, neither of them for all three answers.

9. Whats your philosophy on life and death? To try and use grammar well, and if my eyes aren't deceiving me, there should be an apostrophe in the first word of this question. Life is neither too short nor too long - the only reason people believe it is too short is because they haven't gotten around to doing everything they wanted. Also, that sometimes honesty isn't actually the most important thing. Also,death could be anything. Why ask me???
10. If you could do anything with me, and have no one know, what would it be? Steal your brain, attach it to a TV, and watch your fics performed by their correst actors. (told you it was an unhealthy Silent Witness thing)
11. Do you trust the police? Yep. Screwed if you don't, really.
12. Do you like Country music? A little - big Eagles fan, but only Johnny Cash apart from that.
13. What is your fondest memory of me? That your icon is often a flower when it appears on my flist. It looks incongruous next to the smut. Makes me feel almost guilty, but is so pretty.
14. If you could change anything about yourself what would it be? OK, to be shallow, thinner. To be deep and meaningful...thinner.
15. Would you cheat? On a person, never. Most other things, yes.
16. What do you wear to sleep? T-shirt and knickers.

20. Which do you prefer - short or long hair? Long, on women but also a little on men too ;)
21. Do you sing in the shower? Loudly, scarily, and often to show tunes. Also into a hairbrush.
22. What's your favorite color? Blue. Denim, primarily, or turquoise.
23. If you could bring back anyone that has passed, who would it be? Jesus. Always wanted to know how much of the Bible is true.
24. Tell me one interesting/odd fact about you? I fancy Ed Byrne, and can do (fairly bad) American and Essex accents. Also, I used to live in Oxford! And I like Never Mind the Buzzcocks.
25. What was your first impression of me? That it was a little strange to have a random number in your username - I thought you were a chav, and clicked on the fic link with much trepidation...it was worth it, you'll be pleased to know.
26. Have you ever done drugs? Alcohol but nowt stronger. Mainly cause the only ones I would know how to get are weed and cigarettes and the smells of both make me wretch.
