You guys are a)brilliant and b)nuts. You did know I'd be reading what you wrote, right? ;D Despite your best efforts, none of you managed to actually break the form (no, not even with your essay, Fish ;)) and the results are showing up beautifully. I'm having geekgasms over how easy Google have made it to create these things and get the answers out. Googledocs->Create New->Form. That's it. I'd totally recommend it for ficathons and similar - it'll save hours of typing! \o/
I've been prodding at words and ideas for a few days, but nothing's really sticking, so I think I need some help. Reading my old stuff both helped and hindered. Helped because hey, I used to be able to turn out a not-too-shabby story or two. Hindered because hey, am I ever going to be able to do that again? It's feeling less and less likely as time goes on. I have some prompts owed from a meme a while back, but nothing's working right now on those. So, as ever, I'm turning to the trusty Timestamp meme:
Give me one of my own stories, and a timestamp sometime in the future after the end of the story, or sometime in the past before the story started, and I'll write you at least a hundred words of what happened then, whether it's five minutes before the story started or ten years in the future.Yes, I did used to write fic, remember? It feels like a long time ago now. Most of it is
here or on my
fic tag. If you *really* want to help, I could use Torchwood, Doctor Who, Criminal Minds or Jack (including Sic Transit Tempus) requests, but I'm open to all suggestions!
I'll take the first ten and see what I can do with them. Thanks, guys!
